Frequently asked questions

How do I check a suspicious text message?
Take a screenshot of the text, then open Keel and tap "Suspicious text or letter?" — choose the screenshot from your photo library.

How do I check a suspicious email?
The easiest way: forward it to keel@mg.desertskyaz.com. For a deeper check, open the email, tap the menu, choose "Show original," copy all the text, and paste it into Keel's email checker.

I forwarded an email but got a delivery-failure message back instead of a Keel verdict.
This means your own email provider (we've seen it with iCloud and Xfinity/Comcast) blocked the forward before it ever reached Keel — usually because the message you're forwarding looks enough like a scam that your provider's own spam filter refuses to relay it. It's not a Keel outage, and no reply is coming. Open the email, copy all the text, and paste it into Keel's email checker instead — that always works, since it never has to leave your device.

How do I check a voicemail?
On iPhone: open the Phone app → Voicemail tab → tap the voicemail → tap the Share button → Save to Files. Then open Keel and tap "Suspicious voicemail?" and choose the saved file.

Is my information private?
Yes. Only sender addresses and web links are ever checked against external databases — never the content of your messages. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

I have a question not answered here.
Email us at keel@desertskyaz.com — a real person will respond.

Where are the Terms of Service?
